So this blog, much like our website, has gotten off to somewhat of a slow start. Not intentionally, but with wordpress there are a lot of choices and decisions to be made, couple that with a great Thanksgiving meal meals, I took a little mental vacation. This afternoon, I started to think about all of the things I had to do this week and I started freaking out! Everything is in high gear. We are totally revamping the website. We found a great host and new technology to create the site. Talk about chic, sophisticated, and downright phenomenal…I can’t wait for you all to see the new look, read the new articles, and see the new features.
I have a business trip to the nations capitol this weekend and a few proposals that I have to finish before I leave on Friday. I have to admit I am a little stressed. I decided to take a step back, pull out the calendar (I prefer the book, not digital) and prioritize my tasks.
I know that I can’t be everything to everybody, so I choose not to be. Grant it some things got pushed back, but now it is doable. Isn’t that the whole reason of being your own boss, so you can make those executive decisions?
