PARTY GRATITUDE December 21, 2008

Proper etiquette dictates that if you are so privileged to be invited to a party, you should as a minimum take a gift for the host/hostess. They provide the food and entertainment; you spend a few dollars to show your thanks. Money a little tight? Don’t fret. I scoured my local dollar store and found gifts that are totally appropriate for $1 each. Plus, these gifts are easily found in mainstream discount stores. Gifts Picture Frame- Your host has the perfect picture to fill an elegant frame. Wine Stopper- For the wine enthusiast or just a beginner, a wine stopper is a necessity. Coffee Mug- Of course you have more than you need, but they do break and need replacing. Stationery- Attractive papers and envelopes prove thoughtful for a host who loves to write. Candles or Candle Holders- Scented or unscented; candles are always exquisite offerings.
